Personality:
Rena has a cheerful and friendly personality. She is often full of energy and very optimistic. Rena loves a good Pokemon battle, but she can be pretty rash at times and run into things without thinking. She is very loving towards her friends and her Pokemon (and to most people and Pokemon in general). At times, Rena may be somewhat oblivious to others problems, but once she realizes something is wrong, she is strongly empathetic towards them and will do anything to help a friend. Rena is a lover of fashion, travel, and Pokemon.

Battle Strategy:
Like her rash personality, Rena may sometimes run into battle without thinking. She often takes some chances in battle. On the other hand, she has a lot of faith in her Pokemon and forms a strong bond with her team. Rena isn't the type to pick favorites when it comes to Pokemon and appreciates the uniqueness of every specie. As a result, she often tries a lot of different Pokemon and uses a lot of different strategies when battling. Her strengths are her versatility and power. Her main weakness is occasionally taking unnecessary risks in battle.

Goals/Motives:
Rena's main goals are to have an epic adventure. To see as many places she can see, battle with as many Pokemon she can battle with, and shop in all the places there is to shop. And yes, taking on the League Challenge is on her to-do list.

Relationship with Barry:
Barry is Rena's closest friend in terms of familiarity, but farthest in terms of distance. They went to trainer school together, but since they live in different towns, most of their communication before their Pokemon adventure started was through Holo Caster. Barry makes a good compliment to Rena's over-excitable tendencies and is there to reign her in a little when her enthusiasm gets out of hand. Barry sometimes acts as Rena's voice of reason. During their Pokemon journey the two have a relationship that is part supportive teammate, part friendly rivalry.
